Pear Soy Milk




Soy milk is actually fairly easy to make, and homemade soy milk is delicious and works so well in smoothies!

I follow the soy milk recipe found at:

By following this soy milk recipe, you can use it for various smoothie recipes, even freeze some to use later!

Serves 2

1 cup of soy milk (not strained)
2 pears (anjou or barlett pears work well)
1/2 tablespoon honey (adjust to your preference)
4 ice cubes

* for Pear soy milk smoothie add a 1/2 cup of plain Greek yogurt or vanilla Greek yogurt

Put all ingredients in a high-powered blender and blend on high until smooth (level 10 with Vitamix for 45 seconds).  Optional: add another 1-2 ice cubes
